At Redeemer, worship is more than just a weekly ritual—it's a fundamental value that encompasses living a life of service to God, as outlined in Romans 12. Under the umbrella of Redeemer’s Worship Arts, we aim to provide a platform for everyone to express their praises to God through their musical talents and gifts. Our mission, inspired by Colossians 3:12-17, calls us to unite in spreading God's Word with overflowing gratitude, dedicating ourselves to advancing His kingdom by supporting those who worship Him.
Whether your musical talents lean towards traditional hymns and liturgy, a blend of traditional and contemporary music, or the modern sounds of Christian music in a casual setting, we have a place for you at Redeemer. Join us at 8am on Sundays for our traditional service featuring hymns and organ music. Our blended service offers a mix of traditional liturgy and contemporary music, catering to those who appreciate both styles. And for those who prefer a more contemporary atmosphere, our modern service provides an opportunity to worship with modern Christian music in a relaxed environment.
If you have a passion for music or technical arts, we invite you to join us and share your gifts and energy with God and others. Let us know your interests, and we'll help you find your place in our Worship Arts Teams.
Redeemer Handbell Choir meets on Wednesday evenings from 6-7 pm in the Sanctuary. Right now, we have a full squad but would like to add experienced people to the substitute list. Novice ringers can come to rehearsals and “get their feet wet” with bells.
Redeemer Choir
Redeemer’s Chancel Choir is a family comprised of light-hearted, fun-loving people who enjoy praising our Lord with the team effort thrill of rich musical harmonies and melodies. A multi-generational group, ages range from middle school to senior (seasoned) singers. Our repertoire ranges from Renaissance to contemporary, as well as African American spirituals and Latin-American worship music. Rehearsals are on Wednesdays from 7-8 pm September-May in the Choir Room across from the 2nd floor elevator. We sing 2-3 times per month, generally at the 8 & 9:30 services. Ad hoc groups get together once per month in the summer and for special occasions as advertised. New folks are welcome!
Redeemer Worship Band
Our band leads modern worship songs with a modern sound that you would find with such radio stations as AirOne or such musical groups as Hillsong, CAIN, Phil Whickham, and more. Our instrumentation includes: acoustic guitar, electric guitar, bass guitar, piano/keyboard, drums, vocals, and more – all led by our Worship Director, Steven Krueger. The team meets to rehearse on Wednesday evenings and performs for our 9:30am and 11am services. All of our team members are experienced musicians and have a heart for leading our people in worship. If you have a desire to be a part of this team, fill out the form above.
Redeemer Technical Arts
Our worship would not be complete without audio, slides, cameras, lights, and more. Our live stream service for those watching from home or away would not occur if we didn’t have this team of individuals who are interested in what happens “behind the scenes” to accent the worship experience for all those worshipping with us. The Technical Arts Team (or Production Team) at Redeemer are individuals trained to run equipment that enhance the audio-visual arts of our worship and special events. Interested in doing this? Reach out to Steven Krueger.
